Availability

The Map House is available year round on a short-term basis. Unfortunately, this site does not support a direct calendar with rates. To check up-to-date availability and rates, click here to visit our main no-fee listing site or send us an email with your preferred dates. Our Summer season is usually sold out before many of our neighbors. Our busy season starts in May and runs through “second summer” in the second half of September and October. Longer term stays from November through March are also available.

We open following-year bookings up on a rolling basis — guests have a week after their stay to reserve the same time the following year.

We know it seems ridiculous to suggest booking almost a year in advance, but the Map House has been in high demand and we do prioritize returning guests who have treated the house well.

 
 

  • Our summer season begins the first Saturday of June and ends the third Saturday of September. Availability is on a weekly basis, with a two week maximum stay. Rates are between $3,200/week and $5,000/week. Check the calendar for individual weekly rates. Rates are generally a bell curve peaking at the cusp of July and August. Lowest rates are May-June and September-October (also known as Second Summer).

  • Shoulder seasons are the loveliest times of year, with no crowds and moderate temperatures. The Map House is available for stays up to 4 weeks between the third Saturday in April and the first Saturday in June and between the fourth Saturday in September and October 31, with a minimum stay of four nights. We run specials during the MA school break in April and around Memorial Day. Pricing in shoulder seasons is between $2,300/week and $3,000/week. Check the calendar for specific pricing. In May, we run Thursday-Thursday so the entire Memorial Day weekend can be enjoyed as part of a full week.

  • The Map House is fully heated and available for multi-month stays between November 1 and March 31. Pricing is between $2,500 and $3,500 per month based on occupancy. Our guests reimburse the cost of utilities, but can take advantage of our solar power and highly efficient heat pumps. Inquire directly if you’re interested in the Winter. If we do not have a long term tenant, the house is available on a weekly or monthly basis in Winter (check the calendar for details).
