Bright and welcoming home with modern conveniences & technology, equipped for family fun and relaxation. Stay in an updated version of the classic Cape style on the (more convenient) ocean side of the main road.
Relax on either of two outdoor spaces, a patio with a fire pit and a deck with a relaxing hot tub and outdoor dining. Get your competition on in the separate Game Room with ping-pong, pool, a mondo big screen for movies.Explore our collection of puzzles and games or borrow a book from our library. Boil up lobsters in the open chef's kitchen with a 5-burner gas stove or enjoy grilling outdoors. You’ll have plenty of cookware, drip and French press coffee makers, large oven, a microwave, and everything you'll need to dine in style, plus a dishwasher for easy clean-up. All bedrooms and common space have new a/c. Kids enjoy running around on the large grass lawn. Have a nap in the oversized hammock.
Two huge TV's are internet connected with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Paramount+, Peacock, HBO Max, Showtime, sports networks, and more. Alexa provides Bluetooth music indoors or outdoors, acts as an intercom between the kitchen and the Game Room, offers weather, tide, and entertainment information, and more. If you run into a cloudy day, you’ll still have plenty of ways to stay entertained! Strong, high speed WiFi covers the entire property, whether you use it for streaming movies or an unfortunate Zoom check-in with a client who doesn't believe in vacations.
There are queen beds in all three bedrooms. The large upstairs bedrooms each also have two twin beds and large closets. Beds are all super comfortable Tempurpedic-style mattresses. Upstairs Bedrooms and the open plan downstairs living space have mini-splits for a/c, while the Game Room and downstairs bedroom have window air conditioners during the summer months (mini-splits are new for 2022). Full baths on each floor make every room easy, but consider taking morning and after-beach showers in the fully enclosed, hot/cold outdoor shower off the deck -- it's how they shower in heaven.
We provide hypoallergenic pillows and blankets, as well as pillow and mattress protectors, but bed linens and towels must be arranged for separately.
The town center is only 2 miles away, or a little farther along the back roads. Wake up with coffee and pastries from the nearby French bakery, PB Boulangerie. We’re a quick bike ride from the start of the 22-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail that'll take you to Dennis or Chatham -- the Rail Trail extension done in 2021 means you don't have to get near Route 6 to bike to the head of the trail, which is literally a four minute pedal away for us non-racer middle-agers. Cross to the other side of Route 6 and you’re just a few minutes from the Indian Neck Bay Beaches. Reach Duck Pond and Great Pond in minutes or take your pick of ocean beaches (Cahoon Hollow is closest) or the other beautiful ponds. The Wellfleet Drive-In is just 7 minutes down the road and it's always fun settling the family in for a mobile double feature. The pier hosts Wednesday night square dancing in the summer and there are all variety of theater, music, art, yoga on the beach, and other fun things to do.
